Profile Information

Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
I started hand quilting in 1968. My husband, Jim and I have been married for forty-two years. Seriously!
We're both professional longarm machine quilters. We've been in business for thirteen years and have quilted over 5,000 quilts for customers. Whew!
How many quilts have you made?
I've made and hand quilted about 300 for myself. I've never quilted on a home sewing machine.
Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
I'm a quilter. I want to and do make quilts and I always enjoy every one.
How long have you been a quilter?
46 years. I wonder how many miles of thread I've used?
What is your favorite quilting technique?
Wholecloth. I love to hand quilt wholecloth and I love to quilt wholecloth quilts on my longarm machine.
Why do you quilt?
I quilt because it's a part of who I am.
Do you have a website?

Thanks Wilma.

I won't post a picture till after the show, so if you get a good picture then you can take a picture for me. Keep your fingers crossed that I get a ribbon or something would be nice. After quilting for 30 years you would think I would get something. I have only been entering shows in the last 5 years. I was a SAQA rep for SW Fl and they really got me to enter into shows.
