How many quilts have you made?
40+ if you count wall hangings, lots more if you count ornaments & tea towels
Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?

Why do you quilt?
To be creative, to give someone something I have made
What a wonderful way to spend your birthday! I've never been to a large quilt show...I'm hoping that someday I can go to Houston; that's my ultimate dream!
I don't feel at all lucky to live here! It rains way too much! I'm a warm weather person and prefer the southern half of the US. Kind of like Hawaii...I enjoyed visiting but I hated living there. I like New Mexico and would love to move to Santa Fe. But then I'd probably complain that I can't walk to the beach! But at least there the sun shines!
Have you ever used Angelia fibers to make waves look more realistic? I love using Angelina...I like it for making dragonfly wings as well. You're lucky to get to go to a class! I've never been to a class or a guild; there isn't anything around here. Which is why I was so glad to have found this site!
Happy birthday, Linda~I hope you have a wonderful day!
I'm Bridget and I live in Seaside, Oregon. I joined this site at the end of April and I'm really enjoying it here. I joined several groups as soon as I got here and have met so many friendly and helpful people. I'm in a really small town without any guilds, quilting groups or classes, so this is the next best thing.
I've been quilting for about 6 years and enjoy machine piecing and quilting. I hope you'll post photos of some of your quilts; I love landscape quilts but I've never tried making one.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and happy birthday!
