I Kari Schulman Martin, I am new to the site also.  I'm also from Arkansas.  Hope you have a great day.

Hello Keri, welcome to MQP.  Hope you enjoy the site.  There is a lot to see, things to inspire you, fun groups to join and friends to meet.  Good luck with the Farmer's Wife quilt.  Post pics if you can, we love to see what others are doing.

The paper piecing group is actually called foundation piecing, and there is a discussion for this question. I'm not sure if any of these members are still active, because I'm pretty new to the site too.

I also apologize. Apparently for this one you Do reverse the pattern. Never heard of that before. I've never had to print in reverse, but I'd check my printer book, help file, or web site.

Welcome Keri. There is a paper piecing group on this site you might want to join. They have some very talented people who all seem very nice. There is also a very good tutorial on www.Connectingthreads.com under freebies. I replied to your status post, but I really don't understand. You reverse the pattern for applique, but not for paper piecing.

Good luck, and have fun exploring the site.
