Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
I am the project coordinator of Mito Quilts of Hope a charity quilt organization in the US and Canada, I started in September of 2013 to benefit of adults and children suffering from Mitochondrial Disease (Mito). A press release went out about the project last week and within two days we received 50 request from patients who would like a quilt. We are looking for quilters who would be interested in helping.

Mito Quilts of Hope Charity

I am looking for quilters who would be interested in making quilts for children and adults suffering from Mitochondrial Diseases. Children who have Mito often don't live past their teens. Adults can develop Mito at any age and it often brings about multi organ failure and early death.
