Yes, we can keep our hats on! My sweetheart and I and our Christmas quilt "You Can Keep Your Hat On"

Today is tree trimming day and we took a few minutes out to take our picture for the blog with our quilt "You Can Keep Your Hat On."   It is a beautiful run up to Christmas day and snowing like crazy.  I must admit this is the most relaxing December I have ever had as the quilt project wrapped up on Thanksgiving and all the quilts have found their way home.  I am even taking my time with the tree, sitting down to blog every once in a while, looking a everyone's Christmas photos on facebook and posting a few of my own.

We will have visitors this Christmas.  Daughter and son-in-law Becky and Todd will join us December 26 for a quick visit before heading to Columbus, Ohio for the holiday celebration with Todd's family.  I have the guest room all ready for them.

Around the end of the month, our German friend, Claudia Glasshaser and her friend, Fabian, will be joining us for four days to celebrate the New Year.  So plenty of celebrating in store.

I am currently watching the movie, "Christmas with the Kranks" which is based on John Grisham's "Skipping Christmas" and I guess I had better get back to the tree.  My buddy Vinnie has been keeping me company as I work.  Here you see him making sure all the lights work and looking a tad spooked.

Christmas all around the house here!  Hope the spirit is moving you too!

Merry Christmas, everyone!
