Today I began piecing a bear paw. She will end up as a queen size. It is colonial Williamsburg fabric I purchased years ago a Hancocks of Paducah. I had cut the pieces last year and got busy with the Paradise Chili Co. banner. Speaking of the banner, I just need a break from it. Brain freeze on creativity! Next week I will work on it again. For now, its bear paw time! Happy quilting to everyone. Work on what makes you happy. Nancy Heinrich

Hello Nancy.  Hope you have a great day also.  I am off to coffee with a friend this morning, then plan on sewing a bit.  TaTa for now, or TTFN as Pooh would say.

Piecing into blocks today on the Bear Paw quilt. I love this pattern as it looks so different just by changing fabrics. Off to the food store in awhile, when my husband gets home. We go before the weekend so we can go out to play on Saturday and Sunday. Usually, we go to the beach. So glad we friended. It is delightful to touch base with other quilters. Have a great day.

Good morning Nancy.  I will post a picture soon.  I sometimes take pics before they are quilted.  Yes, I send them to a friend who has a quilting business.  She does a great job.  I learned a while ago that the piecing is my true love.  So that is what I do.

Good morning Vickie, You must post the quilt when it is finished. I love to see what fellow quilters are making. Do you send all your quilts to a quilter? I have always quilted mine myself by hand, but once in awhile I will quilt on my Bernina. I get up early, go for a walk, a few chores, and then dive into a quilt project. Have a great day.

Hello Nancy.  I just finished a top for our son for his birthday.  Need to make the back and it is ready for the quilter.  I am glad it is done, now I can go on to something new.  Been working on it for a while.   Ready to start on a new project.  I so agree with working on what makes you happy.
