Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
Here it is the weekend before the big unveiling and I spent the morning outside getting ready for winter. I stacked all the porch furniture on the front porch with the exception of the white rocker I rescued this spring from the neighbor's trash which I brought inside and put a quilt top on.
My friend Martha Oliver came over this afternoon to see the quilts before they leave town and while talking with her over the quilts, my husband took some very nice pictures, close ups mostly so it was a very different kind of photo shoot. Here are a few shots:
Now it is evening. Dinner is done and the dishes are calling for me. The snow has started and I guess that means winter has begun. Too bad I didn't get the back porch buttoned up today but it is screened so doing it tomorrow morning will not be too difficult.
Tomorrow I take my hard working sewing machine in for a cleaning and general maintenance. I won't pick it up til December 5 so I will be about a week without a machine. Good thing I will be on the road most of that time and will not miss it at all!
This is all for tonight. Maybe one more post before the big give away. Talk to you soon. Be well. Ginnie
