Ok I will admit it I am in a funk.  I could almost say that my funk has changed to "funktion" which believe me is not a good thing. My life needed something so the "funk" would become "dysfunktional" and I can move on.

Step 1.  Change of scenery---ok that has been accomplished, I was released from the account I worked on for the company that I have worked for almost the last 14 years.  Maybe not the extreme that I had in mind but all things happen for a reason.

Step 2.  I need to start doing more of what I love.  I love to quilt, sew, cross stitch, read, garden, and cook.

Step 3.  I need to get healthier, I have become complacent and I need to get motivated to get to the gym (not like I don't have the time).

Step 4.  I need to remember to be thankful for each and every "opportunity" that comes along.

So how am I going to do this?  Well my first opportunity is to make a space of my own.  My honey decided that I needed a sewing room...ok well maybe because my sewing, and needlework are flowing through 5  or 6 spaces.  Family room sewing CornerFamily Room Sewing Corner 2Dining Room, Living room overflowJunk RoomSitting room  and it will all be sent to this room Future Sewing RoomSewing room

There are a few things which need to be moved out, but I have my paint for the ceiling and the wall.  I want a very light pink.   We have a cutting table all designed and I even had the part necessary.  So I have a project and my "funk" is waning.

Riana I will try to take copious amounts of pictures as I work on making a space for just me!  As mothers, wives, etc.  We seem to give up that "me" space that perhaps we had when we were children "your own room you didn't share with anyone".  We become homemakers, or employees and while we put touches of our own nothing is really "my Space" completely.  I am so excited, and Honey is such a big inspiration when it comes to ideas, and he is quite the handy man to have around.

Colette, Please take pictures of the progress of your sewing room. Those of us who don't have space for one will live vicariously through you! There's nothing like a new project to get the juices flowing. And you're right, a new opportunity will arrive as long as you keep busy and also throw out those leads.Moping about will make you sick, and your family needs you.
