My garden inspired me to do a wallhanging

My husband is the gardener and he has created many flower beds. His current passion is hardy geraniums while mine is daylilies and hostas. So a few years ago, when I first retired, my husband (in his infinite wisdom) decided that I should make him a wall hanging of hostas. He designed it and selected the fabrics, and I traced, cut it and forgot about it. I let it sit for about a year and a half. A year ago January, I decided to work on it

I thought I had a whole year to do it in as it was to be a Christmas present to him, and he was still working part-time so I had those hours to work. Then in August of last year, he suddenly decided to retire at the first of September. I was no where near finished the wall hanging, so he got it unfinished for Christmas. It is now finished.

This is the garden that inspired the wall hanging.

This is the hosta wall hanging with cat!

Beautiful and well done. I love flower beds, I just don't like to be the one who has to plant them and take care of them. I like to be the admirer.
