Good morning my lovelies.  Friday was part 3 of Easy street, which means that Monday is the Linky Party where everyone who is participating shows their progress.  Here is the link to Easy Street Part 3.

I only finished a few blocks.  I did get them all cut and ready to sew but my attention was diverted with my Christmas wall hanging, and a couple of gifts that I was finishing for my beautiful daughters.  So Monday morning is going to be Easy Street.  Here is what I have so far.  Love my fabric choices so far!

On a different note my mother and sister began quilting a few years ago, long after I had been quilting and they are prolific in their quilts, much to my chagrin.  They were both employed, working full time, ok now my mother is retired, but she keeps busy looking after the old folks in the family, and from her church.  Then I realized the difference, they never make anything which have a triangle!  All of their quilts are beautiful, don't get me wrong, but they are all squares and rectangles.  So what was so extremely cute was my mother bless her heart has been following my blog about easy street and asked about the Easy Angle and Companion angle, and if she could use a different system, that she saw.  I told her what ever is easiest for her, but frankly after watching Bonnie's demonstration I am frankly in love with my easy Angle, and the companion angle and it will become my go to rules when making triangles in the future.  So thanks to Bonnie, my mom and sister are going to tackle triangles!  Yeah, slow down their quilt production.  LOL

Have a great Monday everyone!

Hmmm trying to figure out how come I constantly have extra pieces cut and sewn?  Maybe I need to learn to count better.  :)
