I have been very sick had a tumor the size of a nerf football removed from my right leg they also removed a lot of muscle, I had 6 surgery in a 2 week period. then ia in a rehab now Iam out and feeling better I now have 7 weeks of radiation to do 2 down 5 to go this everyday stuff is killing me. then my car died so had to buy a new one. for those trips. I am ready to finish some project that need to e finished . but cancer is not going to change my life I am very optimistic about life I am going to live it to the fullest I can and I am going to live a long long time.

Dorothy, sounds like quite a journey while you were not here.  A positive attitude is a great thing to have in this and many difficult circumstances.  Your quilts are amazing.  Hope this work helps you keep going.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

so sorry to hear you have had such a rough journey while you were away from us! with your attitude you WILL beat this and you will meet your goal of living for a long long time. i had thought that you were just away creating another of your beautiful applique masterpieces. i sse you have posted photo of a baltimore album quilt. it's gorgeous!! so good to have a talent such as yours w the needle, thread & fabric. it helps to have something to pick up & work on when dealing w all that you have recently. good luck too you. you're in our prayers and in our hearts.

With a possitive attitude like yours, Dorothy, l'm sure you will! And about those daily trips...l'm sure there must be an organization with volunteer drivers like we have here for our cancer patients. Please don't be shy about asking for a little help!
