Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
I'm on the "My Blog" page, but I don't know how to do this.
Does anyone have the time to help me start a blog of my own?

Thank you all so much!!! I've been out of town and sick since I last posted. But home again and on the mend!
I will try all suggested! I can't believe how kind you are to respond so much to me! This is a shot in the arm of "kindness" and friendship I've been missing!
I'll check back next week!
Thanks again, so much! Cathy
I think you just write your post. At the end it will ask you who can see it. I just say everyone. Then on MyPlace I can see just mine. Does that make sense?
BTW..if you mean you want to start a blog of your own meaning you write on it everyday and the whole internet can see it (as apposed to just the myquiltplace folks), and no one else can write on it, then you would go to blogspot.com. But if you mean you want to post blogs with all of us on this site then follow the instructions I gave you before...if I wrote them in a way you can follow.
You just did it. We all blog here by using the purple bar at he top of you page with all the different "areas" of this website. When you click on "blog" you can then click the "add" + button on the upper right corner. You're screen will have a "title" box where you will name your subject or title and then a "text" box in which you will write your thoughts. After you're done you will scroll down to the "post blog" button and click it.
Always use the purple bar to navigate this site. You can hit "galleries" to look at all our pictures. You can hit "home" to read a stream of all the ladies talking in all the groups. You can hit "my place" to be in your own area where you could load pictures of your own or edit your profile. If you click the "groups" button it will take you to all the groups and as you scroll down you can click on a group you like and join it. Belonging to groups is fun because you can stay in conversations with people easier because you will be emailed every time someone in your group comments on the conversation. The "forum" button is to start a conversation with the entire website...all the groups can see your discussion and all can comment. A discussion stays active for the entire site as long as it is posted. Of course the "quilters" button just shows you all the quilters who are members of this site. The "videos" button will take you to tutorial videos...lots of fun. Hope this helped.
