Whoa! It's been a busy summer so far! I've been gone more than I've been home, so now I'm playing catch up with everything. Have 1 quilt block to make for the last class I missed and 1 just finished for the class before that. It was Susanna and I had trouble with it for some reason. Had to redo the center. Still not terribly excited about it--it's not precise enough to suit me. May make another one later if I have enough fabric left after the rest of the blocks are finished. Will post photos after the next block is finished.

Hopefully, I'll get in to the open class on Monday to get those approved and pick up the next block pattern that will be due in August. Then I'll be back on track. Haven't had any time to practice quilting, although I did get a generic FMQ foot to try. Will have to get busy in between canning and preserving and spend some time practicing. Still have one more session of weeding before the yard is caught up. Also, lots of reading as it looks like there have been many, many interesting posts these past couple months, and I'm sure lots of beautiful pictures and group posts. Quilts rule! Well, truthfully, it's neck and neck with my knitting. I guess I like them equally. Both are very creative and expressive!
