Pinterest is a very dangerous thing. I found a picture of a beautiful quilt made entirely by hand. It's over 2000 hexies sewn together all by hand. It looks very similar to a rainbow, and it's very beautiful. I have been inspired to make my own. I'm using 3/4" hexies. It should be a great way to use up a ton of scraps. It's a very fun project and I can't hardly wait for it to come together! I've searched for something to get my mind into since my dad's passing last September and this has been what I've been looking for. Should be a great project....while I look for my next one on Pinterest!

Well it looks like another quilter has got bitten by the hexie bug.LOL  I don"t know what it is about this pattern that just gets in your brain and you can't shake it until you do it. But to go 3/4 inch is a little  extreme for me. I do envy the gals who do them, I find this pattern very relaxing and to put them in order, there are no rules, just your imagination. Way to go Kim and I hope you share your progress with us.

They are 3/4" along one side, so finished. Yes, they are small. But for some reason, I find it very intriguing. Thanks for telling me about the group and I'll check out the magazine too! Thanks!
