I quilt coming here and posting because I sent a pattern and some fabric to people here and it seems they were lost somewhere in outerspace a 20,00 pattern and 25.00 in fabris now this doesnt seem to be a lot of money to some people but I live on SS so am tightly budgeted. So I was angry, I kept coming back ever once in awhile and seeing what everyone was doing but didnt say anything. some times at night I read your posts.

and I have been battling cancer for 2 years , lost a lot of my mobility have a useless right leg but thats no biggy I have a new pet scan and an MRI the 13th I was cancer free last time.

I am planning a new applique quilt after 3 Bonnie Hunter quilts I need a vacation from Piecing this last one had 3000 pieces. I have one more row of 2 inch 4 patch blocks and a border around the outside.

I learned a new thing from Sandra Liechners blog site has a tutorial on using colored pencils and embroidery .her quilts are out of this world,  I love the look of the quilt it mades my roses come alive after you shade them you set them and it is permanent. at 77 it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks but that is why I did Bonnies mystery quilts.

I have so many ufos under my hospital bed was my intention to finish all then befor I died seems I have a reprieve so will do them at my liesure.I only want to do something new and intresting, Glad to be back and see how you all are doing. will be blogging at night once in awhile now I have a difficult time sleeping and I have a new laptop so dont have to get up out of my bed,

Goodness Dorothy.  So glad to hear you are on the mend and that the good Lord has decided you need to remain with us to show us the way with this new technique you have learned.  It is breathtaking, I had to look multiple times to determine it was actually a quilt piece.  You should be proud of yourself.  Like you, I am on SS and I budget my $ wisely so I can spend on my hobbies.  And, like you, I was thinking I would use up all my fabric before my number is up ... so I guess I better get busy and do some more work.  Please take care and spend time doing what you want .. Do not get too mad at your new laptop, I know technology can be a pain!

So glad to hear your latest scan results, Dorothy! Hope it continues to be a cancer free future! Sorry to hear your difficulties with someone. There's one in every bunch that can ruin it for many!
