I have been enjoying my time off while looking for new employment and getting my sewing room in order, catching up on my BOM, finishing some UFO and cleaning up my scrap pile.  Anyway progress has been made, i have whittled down my pile of craft books, magazines to about half of the 3 boxes I found which I was extremely proud of.....until I started cleaning out the garage.  Oh no 3 more boxes of books, a huge tote of scrap fabric but what a fortuitous turn of events after all!

I needed a backing for my fall/Thanksgiving table runner that I had recently finished the top.  I had been looking  online, in stores, and just hadn't found anything to fit the bill.  My prayers have been answered within the gigantic tote, there was a beautiful fall print which was perfect for what I needed.  I am stash busting, and not spending any money to complete this project!

I can't wait to see what you come up with for a table runner and tree skirt.  I love to see what everyone comes up with.

Good for you, I know I have to go shopping in my closet.  I have all the fabric I got from my aunt in there.  I need to see if there is anything to go with all of these fall and chrismas charms I received.  Table runners and christmas tree skirt here I come.
