Turns out that to see the photos you need Adobe Flash Player - which I think comes free - but apparently Iphones don't have, or something.  Hopefully, they'll eventually fix that little problem.

absolutely! i ran a site for my small local quilt group for a while. we did a quilt show each year & did a couple exhibits at coffee shop etc. fun... on the site i posted maps w directions and dates of events. and of course like a monthly commentary on what we were up to, where we were "..and drop on in if you're in town" sorta thing. but no more shows and seems i joined the group at the apex of activities & now there a lot of no-shows for the once a month saturday sew day. this month i am one of them :)) ...the no-shows. my bd last week so hubs has dinner & shopping forays planned and a day of yard & estate sales. dogs in kennel and we can go & do as please. and that don't include sitting & quilting or yard work :))

Thanks for your thoughts.  I did add a blog - though I'm not sure how much more will get put on there.  We'll see - I might find I like the process.  It wouldn't surprise me if I shift providers in six months - assuming that I have any business.  My guild's website, which I also manage, is on JustHost, which is pretty inexpensive, and which I find much friendlier.  Also haven't heard of anyone having difficulty seeing photos on it.  It's all a WIP - and fun while it lasts!

don't worry! cheap is good & necessary when starting out. vaccuming here amd thinking...blog topics. name your quilts and then use that namein the blog while you discuss the inspiration, and technique etc for that quilt. it will also let potential customers get a better idea for what goes i to making a beautiful custom quilt ...that you can't buy at walmart for a hundred dollars or less.

another thought on cheap...hubs friend set his up on Blogger -owned by Goggle. great free site, some good free utilities. but only if you've a mind to put all the work & time into another site. of course you could build the Blogger site while continueing the current site and then when current contract expires or before, post a comment on home page to xlick here to go to New & Improved site. just a thought.

Sorry - the service provider is cheap - so I can't complain.  If I make any money at this, I may upgrade!
