Today our son and his family left our area for their new home . He recently retired after 22 years in the Air Force. Needless to say, we are so very proud of him.  He has accepted a job with a company in another state, so this is move number 6 for his family. His eldest child commented that she has moved every 3 years of her life. I told her that hopefully this will be the last until she goes to college. It seems like it wasn't too long ago when we were getting our son ready for college. My how time flies. I am going to be busy making quilts for them as the children (they really are pre-teen and teenagers) all are going to different color schemes in their new bedrooms.  This should be a lot of fun. There doesn't seem to be anything better that making a grandchild smile.
