Hubs just bought me one for my BD. Something else I get to learn how to use. Looking forward to doing alot of piece work, just not all the cutting. Was wondering how everyone who owns one likes them, or not.

Whoops posted as Status instead as a Blog comment! I will get the hang of this eventually this is the original reply....."Thanks Marcia for the tip about the you tube video's watched a bunch already. Took a look at for Dies. Check out too, that is where I found the cheapest price on most of the dies I just bought and mats etc...along with free shipping, which does not hurt.

Hi Leanne- I have a Go, and I love it!!! I have severe arthritic joints in both thumbs and tendinitis plus ganglion cysts in both wrists. The Go is a Godsend for me. That is not to say that it is a piece of cake--fabric has to be on grain (have had some problems with that- but am getting better). There are so many helpful vidios out there for help- just google "you tube/accuquilt go", one of the best is Junebug- if I remember correctly-'is late at night for me.

Just went on a buying binge, bought the Log Cabin die, and the 2 1/2" die that cuts 3 at a time. Then a die that cuts a whole bunch of triangles. Also bought a couple of larger mats, and a die pick. I think I am about set up. Next is the quilt planning, then off to the fabric store. LOL Love this time of the year, and especially when Hubs picks up on all my subtle hits for a BD gift. LOL

I love mine. It is very simple to use, only takes 10 minutes to learn how to use it. I find it most helpful for shapes to appliqué. I also love the precision for strips, squares, triangles, etc. I can cut all the fabric for a queen size quilt in less than an hour. The only downside is the cost of the dies. Watch for sales, look for used dies on eBay, borrow from friends. My favorite dies are the 2-1/2" & 1-1/2" strips, plus 5" squares.

my daughter has one and she does like it.   I've never used one, she's offered to let me use hers, but I haven't done so yet.
