3 weeks without a credit card - horror of horrors

Forgot to mention the most important thing that happened to me 3 weeks ago. I returned home from shopping to find my answer machine blinking..could I ring my bank immediately (its in the UK and I am in Australia!) So I phoned them andf they asked various questions and it appears that my credit card has been cloned and someone in the UK and the USA has been buying stuff on my card.I had to destroy the card and wait for a new one.  This arrived last week but I still haven't received my pin number to activiate it.  I feel as though I am undresed when I go out without my credit card and no I am not saving money there are ways and means of getting want you want anyway.  Don't know if I will get my Hancocks order as I gave the "old" credit card number......

I quit using credit cards 8 years ago and I'm so glad.  I'll admit that sometimes I really wish I had one, but they just aren't for me.  I totally lack self-control when it comes to fabric shopping!

I hope you Hancocks order goes through OK!!!
