Regrets..... I guess we all have a few.

I was asked to make a family portrait in fabric and to be quilted and framed. The customer sent me pictures of her family that were taken many years ago. Many different pictures.....a family album. She asked if I could take certain pictures and group them together has if the family were in one room....their living room. She wanted her cat and dog...toys that the children…

Bleeding Heart of Hope

I am new to this group and loving it! Just want to share my story about my quilt " Bleeding Heart of Hope". I entered a contest that was called " Around the World". We were given the pattern of large blocks that go around. You were told to embellish . I made my quilt using off white blocks so I could put something on top of it and it would stand out. I made green bias strips and drew a heart wreath which I applied the green bias to , sewing each strip down and intertwining them. I put…
