Happy New Home!

Hello Everyone,

Robyn sent me this happy shot of my present in her spare bedroom and I thought I'd share with you at last! I already have decided she also needs a quilt so desperately on that bed too! We are a family of snappy dressers for sure!

Merry Christmas morning to you all!  As I sit here this snowy morning, alternately sipping my Christmas tea and Diet Coke, I am contemplating the year soon to end and another about to begin.  I once told someone a good year was three quilts completed and by that definition, this was a good year.  I finished Becky's wedding quilt (finally!), made a new Halloween pumpkin quilt…

Hiding in the seam allowance

I hope this is the right place to post this question, but I really need some help here. I am working on a patchwork large quilt and am to the sash strips point. Despite my very careful cutting and attention to my seam allowance I have ended up with some very wonky edges. I have tried to hide some of this in th seam allowance but some places need more than that. I am still kinda a beginner and had this problem while making placemats and ended up turning the 9 patch into smaller wonky pieces…
