20 years & Kindle Unlimited

Dear Readers,

Thanks so much for your continual support of my writing. It’s been twenty years since I started Butterfield Books Inc., and I appreciate your support over two decades!

I have two series in the works right now that I want to tell you about.

Tying the Knot, the first book in the Kansas Quilter Series is already available, and there will be two more books in it. It’s about my great grandmother and her quilts.…

The quilt top was to be used for warmth, it is all hand sewn and she was not concerned for or could not do perfect work for whatevrr reason. However it is beautiful. Every stitch made with love. Maybe the imperfections make it more valuable to me. I love to just look at her work, her stitches.

I do need help and any suggestions as there are two small holes in the top and seven in the blue border. Have considered covering some in the pieced areas by just placing fabric over the piece in the… Continue

everyones quilts

yesterday I browsed the photos of quilts. there were so many with no comments on them. Makes you feel good and makes you know others are interested. And you are learning. Each quilt we make takes a lot of time planning and effort to finish.and aren't we all…

County Fair challenge

Rogue - The County Fair theme is "Ahoy, There" -- I guess, because Port Townsend, the county seat, is a Victorian Seaport.  The booth showcases these challenge quilts, which will all go to Hospice after the fair is over, and it is one of our opportunities to sell tickets for our raffle quilt, which is also on display.
