"Just looked at all the possible options for borders on the LBQ...like you Elizabeth, I love the pieced and applique borders. It appears that you can buy the precut applique, takes 4 sets at about $30 each....maybe I will try to make my own,…"
"Finally getting caught up on projects...still waiting for quilts to come back from quilter so I can bind them and finish 2 PHDs, so I am looking to pay catch up with these blocks. Question, if I stick with their colors can I just do any block…"

"Elizabeth, I have enjoyed working on this quilt, but not used to smaller squares. I also joined (don’t ask me why) Farm Girl Vintage 2 through local quilt shop. It is a BOM where the fabrics are included. Meet monthly, not…"
"Riana, what a cute block. I have block 8 to do for LBQ, so will work on it tomorrow along with block 9. Will also finish up 20 more masks. Hospital picked up 1300 masks that sewing group finished this past week. Asked us for…"

I am a crafter. I knit, crochet, sew (fun stuff, no clothes), and quilt. I learned to applique also and love to needle turn, but eyes are not as good as they were. Live in Sun City Anthem in Henderson, NV and belong to the Sewing Club, Arts & Crafts Club and Desert Quilters Guild.
I'm just one kitty shy of being a crazy cat lady. I foster orphan kitties for a rescue organization. I kept all four of my kitties the first time I fostered. I already had 3. I make tiny kittie blankie a with Minky swirl fabric for each kitty to take home. Next kitten season I'm sure I'll be a card carrying crazy cat lady.
Looks like the "friending" worked, but when I try to compose, it is saying I have no friends. Anyway, I have lots of flower patterns I could adapt to the Got Water theme. Thank you for the offer. There is another row by row with watering can and flowers...may wilt the one the can can't reach.
Thanks so much for the you tube site, now I'm going to be in trouble making boxes. I also have some pre-quilted fabric I'd like to get rid of so guess where it's going? Those boxes I think will make good thread catchers by our chairs where we hand sew, will make as quick Xmas gifts foe my quilting friends. Again thanks, Judi
