Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
I come from a long line of quilters -- my 90-year-old grandmother still pieces quilts, then my mother and I quilt them since she isn't able to do that anymore. I have quilts on my walls, on my bed, in family and friends' homes, and several tops waiting to be pieced in my sewing room.
How many quilts have you made?
About a dozen.
Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
Make them, view them, and use them.
How long have you been a quilter?
Started my first quilt in 1978, so 33 years.
What is your favorite quilting technique?
Piecing is my favorite part -- I like putting the "puzzle" together. I love the look intricate free-motion stitching, but usually end up stippling.
Why do you quilt?
To make beautiful things, to relief stress, for gifts.
