Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
I am 82 years old. Still heirloom machine quilting; teaching workshops; presenting trunk shows for exhibits and guild programs. I grew up with 2 brothers so I became competitive to keep up with them. I have won many awards. My pride is that in my teaching I have inspired 2 AQS Bernina Award winners and one young quilter to become certified as a NQA judge.

Jean, I am in awe of your quilts that I viewed at the Madison, WI Sept. 2012 show. If I could only accomplish 20% of your skills, I could die happy. I have only been quilting/sewing for 6 months, so there is sooo much to learn. I wish you would bless us in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with a teaching class and exhibit of your accomplishments. We get very little education here.
