Hi quilters, I am a quilter and sewer from Williamsburg, VA. I love to sew and quilt and it is very restful for me. I chose not to belong to the quilt guild here and I do my own thing. Glad to hear that VA girls are getting together and talking. I went to the quilt museum in Paducha KY one time and had a delightful time.

Just joined the group!

I'm a long-arm quilter living on the Eastern Shore, about 10 miles from Maryland and 8 miles from Chincoteague Island.

Since I long-arm to support my "habit" I have many personal projects in the works:-)

Hi I am relatively new to quilting and come from a family of quilters. I have always sewed garments but have started venturing into the quilting world for the past year. I'm located in southwest Va and appreciate any tips you can provide for local shopping and deals.

Linda - I often travel to Richmond.  That's where I'm from and my mom still lives there.  Maybe we can meet in person some time.  You can find more contact info about me on my blog or website - and follow links.

Leslie - It is very pretty here and we are not too far from civilization! LOL

Linda - I know where Big Stone Gap is. I have family all around SW Va, Richlands, Marion, Grundy, etc. I would LOVE to live down that way!

Harriet - Hi! I got my aunt starting to get hooked.

I have so many ideas rattling around in my head. I am currently working on Dear Jane with a quilting club at the LQS and I have about 20 other things I want to do. I wish I could just stay home and sew all day, every day!!

Just want to say a quick hello and introduce myself.  I've lived in Richmond for the last two years and am originally from southwest Virginia, a little town called Big Stone Gap.  I've been quilting for about 15 years.  My mother, grandmother and aunts all quilted so I guess I caught the bug from them.
