If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

So sorry that you are in such pain, Gail.  I hope that you will be feeling better with some rest to the injured areas.

I have sent them a message, I will post when I hear back. I asked if they would be interested, otherwise we can just do trees.

Okay, I heard back from the designer on the Koala blocks, she said, "  You may certainly use the blocks you make however you wish. Thank you for writing. Wishing you continued Happy Stitching! "

I had told her that I could not promise that each person would buy her pattern, but I could encourage it.. or at least her name.  I did not get her to make the 12.5" block, the patters she did was for a 7" block and a 14" block. I figured ( I think) that by adding .5 to all the measurements for the 7" block, it would turn into a 10.5" block. So, we could just add more boarders. If you would like me to send the down load, let me know.

As I said, I love the trees and I do want to make them, I was just thinking that maybe we could get the other "quilt gals" to put in a  Koala bear too.

The designer also has a kangaroo pattern too.. if anyone wanted to do blocks.

I guess we should ask the quilt gals if they would be interested before we do any?

Riana, that is a great idea !

I never heard back from the designer. I did buy the pattern, but there is not a full page.

Zoe, did you hear from koala block designer yet? l wonder if you bought the 14" koala pattern, then used copier to " reduce" the diagram, then measure, and add seam allowance to each piece on diagram. Or if paper pieced it'd be real easy that way.

Dear Lord, So far today I've done all right. I haven't gossiped, cursed,or lost my temper. I haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish or over indulgent. I am really glad about this. But in a few minutes I'm going to get out of bed and from then on I'm going to need a lot more help.

Barbara, the ones with square borders on back definitely take extra work to line up. With the stripe, it was easier, tho l still had to watch that the center pink strip stayed at center. Thankyou for the compliments everyone.
