Insomniacs Midnight Chats

This group is for those late night quilters who like to login to MQP in the wee hours of the morning.   I know once I wake up I can never go back to sleep so I like to browse around MQP. But I miss all the action because it's 2 or 3 am. So now, maybe my fellow insomniacs can find me here and chat. Or just post your insomnia charged thoughts....hope you enjoy!

Anyone awake? My email isn't receiving for some reason. It's messing with a romance before it really gets started!  So I have to go site to site to see what is going on..

Is anyone awake? Indy woke me and now I can't get back to sleep. Can't concentrate on anything either so I'm just looking at catalogs that came in yesterday.

Up at 3am....Rogue I like the Borgnine block.  I've been pretty busy. I made quilt number four on my 10 to december quilt challenge and have a UFO to finish off for number 5 to be complete.  The plan here is to use as much of the fabric I already have and maybe buy white or black fabric only to fill in the rest.  I really am into black fabric right now. I plan on going a black double wedding ring soon, never have tried one and have always loved them.  I think the wedding ring is what attracted me to quilting in the first place, they look so challenging.  I have a pattern for it but have never been brave enough to try it but I'm feeling it now.  I still have a couple of UFO's to finish but I see a wedding ring in the not so distant future.

Everyone must be sleeping tonight. Sweet dreams.  Guess I'll pace the floor back and forth, back and forth. I'm so tired today that I can't sleep. But I can sit here and stare at the computer. Good night. I'm gonna give it a try.

Thanks for the link, Rogue. Her version of Borgnine surrounded is such a pretty way of using tiny scraps. l must admit, that for me, scrappy quilts are nicest when they're somewhat organized...and l love this. But alas, most of my tiny scraps are "middle" value. l'm going to need a lot of white , ivory or black to make any nice arrangements w/them.So...still looking, sigh.
