If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

That is a beautiful block. Zoe. There are so many talented folks out there.

Well, Riana, that is one of the reasons I've remained single all these years! I had a husband that was worse than our 2 sons. After 20 years, I needed my "me" time. There was more to it than that, but that's what I'm sticking to.

Zoe what an inspiring're right when you said there are talented people involved.

Today was one of those 2 steps forward 3 steps back for me. But l will overcome it with some free time tomorrow, as hubby has a ball game. Why is it men take up so much of our time? Sigh.

The Duck Quilt is sandwiched.  2 of my friends closed the pins.  And I also blanket stitched block #13.

#bushfireblocks - Quilts for Australia

This is on Facebook, this is where they will be posting the quilts. They said they have received so much interest. I told her that is because everyone feel so helpless. Yes, I did send money too.

If anyone needs some Koala bear fabric when I get it in, let me know.  I am sure that I cannot use it all.

I heard back from the gals in Australia, they only want tree's as Ginny pointed out, however the trees can have any fabric, so I broke my rule and bought some Koala bear fabric and will make what I can to help them. Just to be clear, the quilts guild in  Australia  are asking for tree quilt blocks that are 12.5 (might add to 12.75). They are making the quilts and GIVING them to people who have lost so much over there.

So sorry that you are in such pain, Gail.  I hope that you will be feeling better with some rest to the injured areas.

I have sent them a message, I will post when I hear back. I asked if they would be interested, otherwise we can just do trees.
