If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

A Jill of all trades, Mary! Are you leaving expansion space around perimeter? ( for when wood swells in summer). What clour ar you planning on for the stain?

Paul got the first row nailed in before his accident.  These home milled boards are not perfect.  I got the next nine rows ready for nailing. The pretty floor underneath is linoleum that has gotten ripped in places where furniture was badly moved.

I was just going to take some pictures of the view outside my sewing room and the lovely batik I received from my daughter but my battery is exhausted.

Oh, I bet Lake Winnebago was beautiful this morning!

I think the big snow plows lurk waiting for the driveways to be cleared.

Oshkosh was a winter wonderland this morning. Everything was coverd with a beautiful, heavy, blanket of snow. The kind of snow that clogs up the snowblower. The city came by to clear the streets and the snow piled into the drive which had already been cleared. That is life in the winter months of Oshkosh!! LOL!!

Mary, you can do it! ( but watch those precious quilting fingers.)

Think I am going to try to put a few boards down on the hardwood floor.  I will practice very safely first.  Paul is getting really restless, and needs to see some progress on his project.

Small world! My Hawaiian fabric was just a few fat quarters. My fave is a black background with vibrant hibiscus and bird of paradise flowers on it. Too pretty to use, lol!
