If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Back home, our daughter/ family is on their second snowblower...first one was too small to handle it all & died. She thought last winter was bad...but this one is proving to be worse with the ultra low temperatures between the grateful to be missing all that. But l've driven through enough white-outs making business calls while working to last me a lifetime!

Linda, your wonderful talents are going to help others...just like you always wanted!

Sue, that house problem is too heavy for you...a burden shared is an easier load. So we will help you to vent when you're frustrated.

Ginny, aren't you glad you weren't too shy to ask about the quilt? My hubby's always shaking his head at my extrovert -type behavior...but l get answers and results, even if it does embarrass him once in a while, lol.

That is wonderful Ginny. Your quilt was saved for a very special man.

I decided to contact our local QOV gal and was told that my quilt has been set aside for a returning wounded warrior from the Iraq War who was injured when his Humvee was blown up by an explosive device.  His mom is expecting him and his family to move back to our area and the quilt will be presented then. I am glad I contacted her and know that it is going to someone very special.

We have had some weeks of arctic blasts but not that much snow  here in Wisconsin this year. At least not yet.

Good snow blower Barbara and dedicated hubby. So weary of winter. Day off tomorrow. Hoping to do some quilting. Thankful linda you are safe. Thanks Riana and Barbara. This house thing is like a weight I am finding too heavy to carry. Trying to keep my sunny side up : )

Linda , nice to see family coming to your aid. Let us know when the book is published!!

Sue, Nice to hear your voice. Hope all works well for your daughters house. My mil lives in Connecticut. We were planning on a visit around the 15th but that's when another winter snow storm was coming in, so she told  us not to come.  Hope you have a good snow blower.

Thank you everyone. I love you all. Maybe someday I'll write a book but that may not be allowed. I'd  need a ghost writer because I'm not a writer. But my life could make an interesting piece of fiction I one would believe it !!!  I hope by spring maybe I can be thinking of the attorney selling my house and I can find a house in the country some where. I had harvested a lot of seeds from a lot of the plants in the yard. So in essence I will be taking some of it with me. I cry a lot about what Indy and I have to give up, but we'll finally be at peace where no one will know where we are. Already here in rehab I'll be teaching some quilting ... not certain but maybe Christmas stockings for soldiers, kennel quilts for animal shelters, preemie quilts, and the activities director wants to learn English paper piecing. One of my half brothers' wife works here and my brother came and had lunch with me today. They are sworn to secrecy or she will loose her job.  But my brother and I sat and cried together. He had been trying to reach me for weeks and he was so worried that after just finding me that he had lost me. God is so good to me. So 2 family members will be with me. God is good all the time.

Spring is there under the snow somewhere, Sue...just hoping for a slow melt...don't need any more floods.
