If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

I have a very low supply of 12 1/2" pieced blocks for backings so I'll have to spend some time with my scraps.  Also I have to do some ironing of my new stash fabric.  I like to play anyway.  When I go downstairs later this morning I plan to sandwich my Half Framed 4 Patch quilt top.

Linda, I bought one that was discontinued for $45.00 ! It is also unlocked, I still have not used it. I will say that with all the smart features of many of the new ones, I would rather have a simple one.  I will never do banking on one though, I think that is just asking for trouble. Some on here might do that, but that is not something I would ever wish to do.

I would love an iPhone  but can't afford one. I still have an android which nowadays is so very limiting. When I was talking to Verizon today to pay my bill, they said to call them when I got home and they will try to find an affordable deal for me. I'll believe it when I see it!!

My hubby's ipad is fitted out with " magic jack"... so it's a phone too! I like how l can use it on speaker phone and hear well even if l don't have my hearing aids in! My tablet can use skype for voice or video call, but the recipient must also have the app. Smart phones are WAY too small , my fat fingers hit 2 or 3 buttons at once!

I have a smart phone.  The thing I like about it the best, is that I can speak into it.  So even if I don't know how to do something on it, it does it for me.  It is sad when your phone is smarter than you

Mary, I have never heard of Moose Munch but it sounds really yummy!  Hubby and I watched "Joker" yesterday evening.  It was very sad and it still has a lingering sad effect this morning.  Hubby thought his acting was astonishing.

Zoe, I don't have a smart phone because I'm not smart enough to operate it.  If I were younger, it would be different.  I still have a good memory for some things but not for others, such as technical devices.

Linda, maybe you can ask  her hubby to give the remote to you while he's there( after all, you are paying for it too)...then he can " visit" with her, and you'll be free to watch what you like. And l agree, since you will be there a realatively long time, you should ask for a switch...if the answer is " no", then take it as a sign you're being saved from an even worse roomy.

Linda, your rehab is getting paid, so you should ask for the best that you can get.  If you have an address maybe each of us can send you something to work on.. just give us some hints.

I am glad you have someone to help you with your sweet Indy.

Elizabeth, Back in September I ended up in the hospital for a few days, the whole experience was a nightmare ! I too had, well still have a old flip phone... I actually like it best, but when I was there how I wished I would just give in to using a smart phone. I still have not given in, should I?

Linda, I am hoping you get a new roommate soon, and that you break all records for recovery.  Hugs.

Our Wild Valentine's Evening involves sharing a small bag of Moose Munch(caramel popcorn with almonds) and watching a movie on TV!  It really couldn't be any better.
