If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Zoe, l wish! My stash is pretth small compared to some quilters. Fortunately here at Water Oak, since l make charity quilts almost  exclusively, l need very little. The WO Quilters here have a closet a mini store! We fundraise all year to buy fabric and batting. Hundresd of quilts are donated to local hospitals, shelters and veterans.

Riana - the blue and gold is wonderful!   Well done.

Oh Gail - that's ouchy!  Hope you get well in a hurry.

Zoe - that's a great idea and a good way to help in Australia.

Thankyou .Yes , l had fun with it, well, after the first few lines were done anyways. The first line or two with deep navy on white were a bit scary. Then l relaxed because l knew if l screwed up, l could always just fuse another and try again. But l just kept " sketching" ( scribbling? Lol). I did draw in the stems with dissappearing marking pen to be sure they looked decent, then sewed on the lines as marked. But the rest was all on the fly.

Catching up on all the quilts, finishes, plans and other things ..

Gail, heal quickly !  Zoe, that is just so wrong !

Now that the holiday is over, it is almost nice to be so slow. Altho' work is extremely busy for me right now. Still working on Spanish, next class should start next week, and I know I am tired as I slept thru 3 alarms this morning, missed my lap swim and it has put me off kilter all day.

Stitch on … Dee

Gail, trust you will heal quickly.

Riana, love the thread painting. I've never tried it but like the results I see.
