If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Mary, your floor is going to look fantastic!  I'm sure it's hard to work with, but oh my - going to be so worth it.

I was sorry to read about Paul's accident, and sure do hope he's healing nicely.

Barbara, love your cheese and quackers.  I'll bring the wine - and leave my whine at home!

It has been a wild ride!!!!

Jan 13 - first meeting with realtor about selling our house.

Jan. 20th - putting new carpet in three bedrooms and walk in closet.  Spent the week between 13th and 20th packing, discarding, moving everything in three bedrooms - one of which is my sewing room - getting ready for the new carpet.

Jan.  23rd - photographer came out and took the pictures for posting the house for sale.

Jan 24th - 26th - stayed at daughter's house with older grandsons while newest grandson arrived (Momma and baby doing JUST FINE.

Jan 24th - around 10 PM, house was listed for sale.  25th - 3 showings.  26th 7 showings.

Jan. 27th accepted a cash offer sale!!!!!!

Jan. 30th inspection held, 2 minor things to be fixed.

Whew!!!!  Also spent another day at daughter's house while baby went in for his newborn check up.  Must spend most of next week with daughter since her hubby has to go back to work.

I got one evening of sewing in there somewhere - I think it might have been last Thursday.  I'll post it on the PHD page. Since almost all the house is now packed, the only thing left to do is have a big garage sale on the 15th.  Whatever is left will go to Goodwill.  Feel free to come on over, but there is very little fabric in the garage sale, and what IS there is double knit fabric, and upholstery fabric, lol.

We'll move into the RV around Feb. 24th (my birthday!) pack the moving van on the 26th, close on the 27th.  I think the rest of February will be little (teeny, tiny) bit calmer.  Maybe.  Then again......

It wasn't me with Riana!  Barbara, I am not bothered by a messy sewing room.  I won't be coming to check yours - even in the middle of the night!

ROFLOL! Barbara, my experience has always been that you are prepared to meet guests.

I wasn't prepare to serve quack snacks, but I will stock my cupboards for the future. How blessed it would be to meet under better circumstances. LOL!!
