If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Dee, that is something to be excited about. It is spactacular. It is just perfect.  I love it. It should win another ribbon this year.

Beth, I look forward to seeing the three panels put together. I think it is going to be another fantastic quilt.

I am so excited ~~ yesterday I put the final borders on the log cabin ~~ happy dance in the sewing room.  I didn't have a chance to iron or press out the borders, but I just did and took a pic ~~ of course it is way too large for the wall now ~~ I should take a pic of it on the bed, but that will have to wait til tomorrow as Doug is in it  lol

Ginny, I hadn't seen that either, thank you Chris for posting that. I am going to be having a weekend a month project day for QOV ~~ perfect timing

ok, now for the reveal .. are you ready ???

Thank you, Chris, for coming up with it for me.

I am really looking forward to seeing your MVL quilt, Elizabeth. I checked out the steps and it looks to be a beauty.

Thank you, Beth.

Congratulations on the engagement in your family.  My son is engaged too and the date has been set for Sept. 26, 2015.  It is going to be a 2 day wedding in Cornwall, Ontario.  All the guests will sleep over. I've already given them their quilts - 2 of my best - 1 for their bedroom in the trailer and 1 for their bedroom in their new home.  No last minute sewing for me.

The elfers are trained and experienced in closing safety pins, cutting off dog ears, and putting numbers on blocks.  If you are in a warm clime I'm sure they would run off to help you out. Haha.  If you need anything more complicated from them, they still need to continue their apprenticeships.

Bambi just came home with the groceries.  I'm going to treat him to lunch out.  Life is sweet.
