If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

How stylish that walker will be!

Finished the quilting on the story telling quilt (below)..had to be done 7 months early for their publicity folk.  Will do a flat picture for the gallery soon.See Beth's embroidered house top center.  I found the cradle at Goodwill a couple of months ago.  Paul did lots of repairs.  Am thinking of making a full layette for it to be a raffle or auction item somewhere.

I am officially done "making" for Christmas. My cousin, Beatrice (or Bea) collects all things Bee related. I made her a walker caddy and personalized it with the same honey bee that I used in Linda's RR.

Thank you, Ginny, Beth, and Linda.

My DIL made a huge pot of pea soup with ham.  It was so delicious.  Her Mom saw how much I liked it  that she asked her daughter to send some home with me. LOL Guess what we are having for lunch today!

Hi Mary,

Thank you.  You do such wonderful work with vulnerable animals.  Too bad things didn't work out with Scilly.  I hope the 2 cats get to feel comfortable in your home.

I have a new Grandpup, Lucy, in British Columbia.  My daughter and her husband got a 2 month Lab mix called Lucy from the shelter.  Lucy isn't letting them sleep!

Thank you, Marcia.

I'm just finishing Hip-Hopscotch, a quilt pattern put out by Quiltmaker for  five days in early Sept. as a Back to School project.  Someone in the condo is waiting to buy it for a Christmas gift so I'd better get busy.  It is taking me almost 5 months - I can't imagine that some quilters sat down and got the quilt done in 5 days!

It is in the embroider machine so if I follow instructions, will work.

Thank you Vickie and Riana,

The back of MVL is Connecting Thread's wide back from the Isle of Enchantment collection.  It is such a beautiful print - just the right colours of aqua, yellow and green.  It is really hard to take a photo that would do justice to the machine quilting.  It is a nice quiet motif in yellow thread.  Jill also stay stitched the top for me before quilting.  From now on I will do that - especially since the border was pieced.
