If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Riana and everyone - good news!  I can pick up my machine tomorrow afternoon!

Another good T.V. program we watched was "Little Women" on PBS last night.  It was so heartwarming.

Hi Riana,  Is the www.  4 blocks on the first day and 8 blocks on the second and third day. All easy and 6''.  Today is 8 Ohio Star blocks.  I have been using white on cream, red (several different prints and solids) and blues.  Most of the fabrics are from my inheritance.   Hard to fit in 8 blocks and house-work too.  And I started back to reading a good book called "Second Sleep" by Robert Harris  with written summaries of each chapter so I can follow the story even if I don't read every day.  I don't let Hubby out of the house except to drive me once a week for meds and groceries.  We've seen a few good Netflix series lately - "Safe" and "The Stranger" by Harlan Coben and now we are watching "The Valhalla Murders" wh9ich I find interesting because it shows Icelandic scenery.

Hi all! Made it safely home at 4 a.m. yesterday with dry clear cold conditions ( Sun). We have trailer unpacked and daughter had fridge stocked & clean for us. We must self quarantine 2 wk. as requested at border. Since we stocked trailer with all necessities we're good for 2 wk. This a.m. awoke to snow!

Elizabeth, l didn't hear/ see anything( heh heh) but in return for my " blind eye", will you please post the link to that  Laundry basket sew-in?

Congratulations Wilma for your good work making hats!

I made 20 blocks in 3 days following the Laundry Basket Quilts mystery.  And I am

sewing on the border for the Christmas Tree Wallhanging.  I'm going to fusible applique some ornaments on the tree next.  I bought a metre of fabric with ornaments on it at the after Christmas sale.

Great looking socks, Mary.  You have been busy.  I have made 40 hats so far this year, they will go to local organizations when the cold weather comes.  Maybe I will get 100 done.

Today we got a challenge from my sewing/quilting group....our local hospitals need masks.  They have asked for 1000 for a start.  Zoe, I sent the link and pattern you posted to my Featherweight group, and our club president grabbed it and took a sample to the hospital.  We will make a slight modification to the patter by adding a pocket to hold a filter...this was requested b6 the hospital.

Hope you are all keeping busy and are well.

We got a couple of storms through Nevada.  Both were cold storms with some hail.  Mountains got some much needed snow.  Made a couple of face masks today and a hooded towel for great nephew.  Tomorrow expect more rain, will work on my mystery can’t meet so we are doing it via emails etc.

Mary, you and Paul stay warm.

Everyone stay healthy and be safe.

Very nice socks, Mary.

I just steamed the kitchen floor and now am planning to vac the stairway. Got to get things done when I have the energy. Was hit with the ordinary flue bug for about two weeks and so was hubby. We are fully recovered.
