If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

We got a couple of storms through Nevada yesterday.  Both were cold storms with some hail.  Mountains got some much needed snow.  Made a couple of face masks today and a hooded towel for great nephew.  Tomorrow expect more rain, will work on my mystery can’t meet so we are doing it via emails etc.

Mary, you and Paul stay warm.

Everyone stay healthy and be safe.

Oh my, Mary! Stay indoors and keep warm. We noticed snow on the mountain tops here in Tucson yesterday when I went to the surgeon for my follow up visit. My friend and I got carryout for lunch and went to the park to eat so we could look at the mountains. Restaurants are closed except for carryout.

Paul and I are hibernating in 3 feet of snow!  Another big storm on Monday...that is how I will know what day it is.

Saw the surgeon yesterday and he confirmed what the PT therapist another 2-3 months I should realize 75-80% recovery. Meanwhile the nerve pain and low back pain I'm having is normal for this type of back surgery. So still a while before I can sit at my sewing machine.

Elizabeth, I don't think you can hide anything from Momma Duck! ROFLOL

With CA., in lock down, nephew out there living the life ( not much now) it got me to wondering about face mask and how to make them.  I saw this post and wanted to share. Please pass this around to all the groups you belong too. We all have extra fabric, might have to order the elastic though.

Riana, hope you got everything packed OK and you are headed out.  Be safe and stay healthy.

Kris, you enjoy your sightseeing and travels also.  Be safe and stay healthy.

I am trying to finish up on little things and commitments.  My long arm quilter will be back beginning of next week and will finish up my 2nd quilt.  Then I just have to add binding to both (already cut and ready to go).  That will mark off items 2 and 4 on my PHD list.  Sent reminder note to grandson that he owes me 4 pictures so I can finish up his quilt and get it off to quilters (item 6) on list.  So making some progress.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.  I am sure the number of infections is going to jump considerably with all the testing going on.  But so far, "knock on wood," my mom's place is free of the infection.  I am hoping it stays that way.

Gail, if you can keep it a secret from Riana, I'll tell you what I've been doing with all those circles that I cut into squares plus the fabric I bought to help out the quilter who is de-stashing.  I've bagged up the squares in baggies with enough in each to make a quilt.  Then, I'm hiding them in the bottom of a Hyundai case our dealership gave us.  Can't see through it so they are invisible.  How will she ever know?
