If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Deanna, you are a busy busy girl.  What do I have to do to catch up with Beth?  I will try my hardest if I know the goal.

ok, my goal on Saturday, is to sandwich my great nephew quilt and get it quilted before he gets too old to use it.  He is two month's old now.  Piece the back for my Sunbonnet Sue memory quilt for my friend's adopted daughter so it can go to the longarm quilter next week.   But that all hinges on wheter I get all of my applesauce put up this week so that Saturday can be a free day.  I put up on 5 gallon bucket yesterday after work.  It yielded 6 quarts. Tonight I plan to do the same.  Maybe two 5 gallon buckets.  That should only leave 2 more to day Friday night.  That finishes up one apple tree.  The other two can wait they are not losing their apples. They will be Cider, Apple Butter and Apple Compote. Everything is loaded this year.

Beth, sorry to hear you have a nasty cold.  Get well soon.  This morning I have been working on my B&W Dresden plate.  The quilt calls for 57 plates in 3 sizes.  I now have 27 sewn together.  For some reason the middle size is giving me fits.  I don't know why but they do not want to lay flat all the time.  I took one apart today and sewed it back together again and it lay perfectly.  Don't know what I did wrong the first time.  I don't seem to have any problem with the other two sizes.  Because of how many UFOs I have to will see me jumping around alot.  Hopefully I will finish some soon.

rianna, it is so wonderful to see your beautiful grandmother garden quilt completed and then to place in the fair!  awesome.  Nice finish.

Sorry haven't been here in a week or so, had a family life issue come up that had to be handled and is in the process now.  Then gardening, canning, and trying to get anything done, boss gave me a cold to mix in with it all.  Yep, told him it should hit real hard by Friday and i won't be into the office because I will be in bed nursing it.  yep, he gave it to me and that is what happened to him so told him the same course should be for me.  Yep, he laughed, now we will wait and see how strong I can be, nope, I will be in bed just because now.

You can join in the fun even if you only have one.  This is just so much fun to be part of.  I don't think there are any rules here Florence except let us see your wonderful works of art.

Hi, I am new to this site.  When I saw this group I thought I might really belong so I went and counted my UFOs and WIPs.  If I counted right I have 14 quilts to be quilted and 10 WIP.  Does that quality be to join you?  LOL.  How does it work?
