One of my favorite gifts, over the past few years, that I have received was a lovely bookmark and book.  So since I know many of you have your boxes just about full, I thought we would do another small project.  This month's mission is to make a bookmark to coincide with your sister's favorite type of book.  And if you happen to find a book to put it in, that is just a bonus for your SS sister.

Ok guess I better go check on what my SS likes to read.

I will have to reread this before I send this...I love books written by animals.

The snaky bookmark is a beginners bobbin lace project.  I never got much farther as I couldn't seem to remember the patterns or see them well.

Both the book and snake book mark look interesting. Very cute!

Finished the bookmark, now to find the book.

That is one pretty bookmark!

Wilma, your bookmark needs a romance...

Guess I better look at what my SS likes to read....maybe a romance is in order.

I love that everyone is coming up with such unusual bookmarks.  It just goes to show what kind of talent our little group has.

Oh my! I missed the posting for this, what a lovely idea! I have a nice flat metal one a friend gave me 10 yr. ago. It lost the pretty beaded bangle on the end, but l use it anyway...l think of her whenever l use it.

"So these are corner book marks and I thought they were so cute. This is a murder of crows. LOL They stack nicely and do not distort, spread the spiral binding of a book. I hope my secret pal likes them."

This ended up being a family project. A murder of Crows. Corner book marks

Oh how cute are these.  Great job.
