Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
This month is part of your first secret missions. You can now open your smaller envelope with the pet paws on it. This month's impossible mission involves organizing your SS sister's bobbins in a little different way. This month you will share with her something that brings a smile to your face, while helping her to organize her bobbins. Maybe you loved marbles as a child, or you have a collection of antique buttons, maybe ladybugs are your thing. Whatever it is, please share it with us. You will only post the picture of one of your creations as we want the rest of them to be a surprise. I found that placing the tees into an empty thread spool made it easier to work with while decorating them. Have fun with this and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
The other envelope is for your July mission, so don't open it just yet.
Oh how fun!
Oh, need to find the artistic side of the brain.
I only have extra bobbins for one machine. I may be the only sewer in the world who considers an empty bobbin an excuse to go get a snack and take a nap.
Mary, you are too funny. I guess it will be easy for your SS sister to figure out what to get you.
Lol! Mary, l'm the opposite...l have 3 bobbin cases full! So about 75! One case for each machine in the house...and a few in my " travel machine's " rolling case ...oh, and 4 for my embroidery machine! But l have a cute shelf for displaying antique toy machines and threads...so that could work.
Hmmm...thinking cap on for ideas for SSS.
Wow - I never even thought to organize them with the spool! I just have a box with slots for all the pretty colors.
Hmmmmm.....in case you were all wondering, that's my brain churning. May take a while to get this one going.
Believe it or not I have an idea!!!! LOL!!!
Linda, those would get both my kitties very interested! We were only supposed to post a photo of one, but since yours are all the same, l guess it doesn't matter.
They reminded me of balls of yarn!
First thing l had to do after openning the envelope was to hide the 6 tees in my sewing drawer, or hubby would've scooped them up to his pocket for next time we played golf, lol!
Hahahahahaha! Too funny.
