I have had folks ask me to make quilts from clothes. Usually they don't want to add other fabric or little other. Then they don't like the results cause don't end up like quilts in catalogs. Anyone do one from just clothes that they really liked end results? Have posted photo of two I did (same customer). I have had no complaints when doing quilts from just ties, or just tees, but using clothes, kids to adults, lace to jeans to bibs, etc was not too successful.

The nicest ones from clothing that l've seen are "t" shirt quilts. The graphics on those add interest and the fabric is similar. Even when the person's clothes are "co ordinated", the fabrics are of different weights, contents and feel, and so are difficult to assimilate. Jeans rag quilts work well , though.
