This challenge will have ZERO swapping in it. It is strictly created to try to get some finishes on our swap blocks!  You may join in at any time and you can finish any number of quilts  or other projects you wish in each quarter but the hope is to complete at least one each quarter!

Here is how it works:

* sign up quarterly. This will prompt you to have accountability!

*make goals!! Be willing to post your goals each quarter and do your best to follow through!

* choose your blocks for the quarter! It can be blocks we have swapped or even ones you have just had setting around forever!

* be prepared!  Whether it is scrappy or perfectly chosen have it ready to go. Choose a setting!

*share ideas to help others move forward! Sometimes the hardest part of this is deciding on a setting. Let's help each other by sharing ideas!

* be prepared to post progress and hopefully pictures if you are able!

* the main goal is to get all the way to a finished quilt!! Binding and all! Or if you prefer you may use the blocks to complete some other project such as table runners, place settings or bed runners.

But even if you are only able to get to the quilt top stage at least it's not a pile of blocks!!

             ************** HAVE FUN!! *************

This is the main thing! When it stops being fun you stop making progress! Lets keep it fun. You never know I may add prizes in here at some point!

Very cool Melanie.

Very nice Melanie! It feels good to get anything done! Glad you could help out!

Speaking of the tournament, it was a fund raiser for a scholarship in memory of a friend's son.  This is the 3rd or 4th Annual (take your pick).  We had a beautiful day and lots of fun.  My brother-in-law came in first, my friend's other son was second and my husband was third. Guess who got the broken putter award.....

Great work...putter is a good award...lol.  Your quilts are nice.

Great picture!!!

Ok the pumpkin patch is ready for quilting.  I love these blocks....added an embroidered “pumpkin spice and everything nice” to the top row.  This will become a fixture from September thru November on the sofa.

Too cute! The pumpkin colored sashing looks great too!

This looks fantastic. Love these blocks and the sashing is perfect.

Perfect setting color for these blocks! I love these blocks!

The snowmen blocks....most of them, are at the quilters.  This is for my sister.  Since my previous post, I added a top and bottom row.  I will use the same piece as those rows for the binding.  I split the big blue block into two smaller blocks.  Great job again for this swap.

Wilma both of these are great. Just wondering something,  do you ever sleep?  Lol

Yep....I get my 8 hours a night.  Since I am retired I have made it a policy (when not visiting mom) to sew at least 4 hours a day.  At night I do hand work or knit because I cannot stand to just watch TV....lol.

This year I overcommitted by promising 6 grandsons and 3 fiancés quilts.  So far I have 5 finished.  Hoping to get 2 more finished.  One grandson and fiancé may have to wait until May (they both have a birthday then).  Not sure how much my foot surgery will impact me.
